[PROMPT] Interaction

What kind of interaction would the video require from your students? Does it force them to respond in some way (inherent)?

The video requires the student to watch the video and to learn the history of how inflation works and the dangers that can arise from it if the economy does not take precautions measures to limit it. If inflation reaches over a certain level it can cause bad problems and for students to understand the severity of this they must first understand what happened when it did reach hyperinflation. Banks the past months raised interest rates so many times today because they are trying to control inflation that has occurred because of COVID-19

In what way are they likely to respond to the video on their own, e.g. make notes, do an activity, think about the topic (learner-generated)?

The learner will think about the topic because it gives real-world situations that occurred in the past and must be accounted for. They will possibly jot notes too to recreate the timeline in which the video explains the inflations have posed as problems throughout the years.

How could the video have been designed to generate more or better activity from viewers or students?

The video could generate more activity by asking the students questions or given them “new situations” which requires them to analyze and apply what they know and what happened in the past with inflation to take the new situation.

How will you address any potential barriers for your learners in the use of this video to ensure an inclusive design?

Potential barriers for users in the video would be the terminology used may be a little complicated. Students could have a activity where they fill in a blank terminology sheet while they watch the video so they can understand the terminology while learning it when they watch the video. Other barriers could be being a video those hearing impaired could have a hard time hearing, this is where closed-captioning comes in to help out the students in need.
